Why Does Heart Spikes After Preworkout And Chest Gets Tight After Sitting?
Hi I have a question. So I workout and run every day and I have been for months while taking preworkout and coffee for months with no problems. I also have a perscription for medical marijuana and have never experienced any problems even with medicating right after the gym as it is known that marijuana increases your heart rate. Anyways just this week I medicated about an hour after I worked out about 3 hours after I took preworkout and about 15 minutes later my heart spikes up to about 125 beats per minute while I am just sitting down and my chest gets tight. This just recently happened and has only happened twice but do you have any idea what the cause of this is?
Hi, thank you for asking healthcare magic. With this presentation, it is possible that these problems might have resulted from what you took. Apart from marijuana that increases heart, caffeine in coffee can also do so. I also think it is important to rule out a heart problem. These symptoms might be revealing a heart problem that is still asymptomatic. You need to do an ECG and may be with an ultrasound of the heart to be sure that your heart is fine.
I hope that helps I wish you well
