Why Does It Hurt To Swallow After A Head Injury Caused By A Car Accident?

My 17 year old daughter was in a car accident two days agowhere she T--Boned a car, air bags didn't come out but she had a severe headache that night, headache is now gone away, but she now says it hurts to swallow. Is this something that we should be concerned with ?

get done mri to know the status of glassopharyngeal nerve. there may be some nerve injury while she had met with ana acccident.get done physically examined by a local doctor.
