Why Does My Arm Hurt After Drawing Blood For Test?

two weeks ago while I was getting an iron transfusion I had to have blood drawn for a CBC. When the woman took my blood it hurt down by my wrist and had a funny feeling now my arm hurts especially when I let my arm hang down. Is this something I have to worry about and what can I do to make it feel better?

Hello,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you have got thrombophlebitis . Its treatment is throbobhobe gel locally 3 times a day. For pain relief analgesic such as diclofenac can be taken three times a day after meals. You need not to worry much about it , it will gradually resolve.
