Why Does My Chest Pain With A Tightening Sensation Every Time I Take Alcohol?

I am 20 years old, & yes, I understand the under age drinking policy, which isn't something that I need to hear when answering about this subject. Occasionally(doesn't happen -every- single time), when I drink alcohol I get chest paints so severe that it hurts to breath, & I feel this tightening in my chest, AND in my neck muscles, where it hurts to turn my head. This can happen after one drink, a few sips. After about 20 to 30 minutes,the pain seems to diminish and I can't even tell that it happened at all. Could there be an allergy to certain brands of alcohol, or the color of alcohol? I think it tends to happen more with dark colored alcohol brands. Could it be some sort of heart burn or acid reflux?

Hello,

First of all, stop taking any alcoholic beverages as they are causing you such severe problems, which is manifested in the muscles giving you symptoms. Imagine what it would cause to internal organs like liver and kidneys. Yes, it is the composition of the beverages that are causing you the problems.
