Hello!
Thank you for asking on HCM!
Seems that you are living with a hyperdinamic circulation state. It is important to perform a differential diagnosis, to find out why is this persistent
tachycardia disturbing you.
I would recommend first of all a resting ECG, and some blood tests (
complete blood count, to rule out any possible anemia, a
thyroid hormone blood level test for a possible dysfunction, a cardiac
ultrasound to confirm that you have a structurally normal heart, etc).
And of course, all the above tests must be coupled with a comprehensive physical examination, performed by your doctor, to investigate your clinical status.
Possible triggering factors, like excess caffeine intake, too much smoking, alcoholic drinks should be identified by a careful interrogation.
If suspicions for a possible
arrhythmia are raised, then an ambulatory ECG monitoring is necessary.
After this preliminary work up, a right answer to what would be the management strategy, could be revealed.
Hope to have been helpful to you. Greetings! Dr. Iliri
