Why Does My Heart Beat Increase When I Take A Hot Shower ?
I m only 22 and lately, every time I take a hot shower, my heart starts to rapidly beat faster. And this always freaks me out. It just started when I had my period this month and it was really really bad and really heavy. Now, ever since then, it happens at least once a day and I don t know what to do?!?!?!

Idoubt wheather it has any relation with period or shower.Since it happens every Day
You need to rule out any cardiac element first with Ecg, Echo, Tmt to induce Palpitation. conduction physiology if suggested by your doctor. It could simpleanxity

hi,thanks for query.There could be various reasons for this.The commonest possiblity in young females is anxiety,iron deficiency and thyriod disorder.Do not worry,just visit your primay care physician and he will be able to help you with this.Please avoid taking cold drinks and hot spicy food which can lead to this.Try deep breathing exercise and take light diet in mean time till you visit your doctor.
