Why Does My Heart Palpitate On Being Stressed?

II had severe hemoragic Dengue fever in late march 2010 and since then if I am tired or stressed I get heart palpitations, I have lost weight and stopped all tea coffe and cool drinks no alcohol and they have eased off, but again today after a week off no problems they reoccured for about an hour. I have been to my dr, and had ecgs and appeared npormal but I have to wait 4 months for a stress test at the hospital, I am taking Apple cider Vinegar and Manuka honey as a drink 4 times a day and this has helped immensly I will do anything to stop these happening

Hi,

Stress and anxiety can cause rapid heart rate and even palpitations. Nothing much to worry as ECG is normal. Avoid unwanted stress and anxiety. You can try relaxation techniques like yoga and meditation. You can continue apple cider vinegar.

Hope I have answered your query.
