Why Does My Stitch Has Itching And Bruise?

hello, I have random itches on my thighs that turn into bruises even if I don t itch them at all. The first time this happened, my thigh was really itchy at work, so I itched it through my jeans. Didn t think much of it until I got home and saw there was a 2x3in bruise where I had been itching. Have had multiple itches and bruises since

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Welcome to HCM!

I am sorry to learn about your condition.

It appears that you are suffering from a fungal infection of your skin.
However, I'd suggest you to visit a dermatologist and get it diagnosed.

Fungal infections in the thighs and groins are very common in hot weather.

Fungal infection will require an anti fungal tablet (Fluconazole) and application of anti fungal cream.

Hope this information helps. Feel free to ask if you have any doubt.
Wishing you a speedy recovery.

With warm regards
Dr. Sridhar
