Why Does My Toenail Hurt?
My toenail has been hurting for a couple days..It was sudden...When I looked at it it feels as the nail had a bump in it..it is on the left side of the nail only and there s a darkish coloration under it...I might have hit toe but don t remember..How can I know if this just a bruise or fungus..I sometimes feel like a sharp pain in the toe

I really appreciate your concern, looking to the history given here I would say that there are two condition which causes the pain of toe nail one is paronychia and second is ingrowing of nail in both the conditions clinical examination is must, hope this information helps you, take care and have a nice day.
