Why Does One Attempt To Suicide?

Do doctors share information regarding suicide attempts? My Sister has tried to commit suicide, 2nd attempt in 3 years. Takes lots of adderall, doesn't sleep for days. I want to be sure that the doctors know everything.

Will her HIPPA keep the doctors from talking? I'm hearing contradicting opinions on that.

I went through your details. You are talking about your sister. You know better about your sister rather than doctors. Or somebody from your family know more about your sister. Doctors will tell you almost everything they know about the patient and situation if they feel you are the person whom they can tell these things. Means if you are the caretaker of the lady.
