Why Does Urine Smell Bad?
My mother takes oral medication for diabetes as well as hypertension. Her urine smelled especially strong over the last two days and smelled fishy today. She also made a bowel movement so it could be that as well. It smells strong sometimes especially in the morning upon awakening. Is this normal for a diabetic?

Pretty normal the morning urine smells. Being a diabetic she has a relatively high risk of UTI, so I would get a urinalysis to be sure.
