Why Eye Socked Is Feeling Bruised And Hurts On Blinking And How To Treat It?

Hi, I woke this morning and the lower left eye socket region suddenly felt bruised. My eye looks completely normal, but every time I touch the area, even lightly, it hurts. It s started to hurt a little when I blink now too. What can this be and how I can I treat this? Thank you!

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having feeling of bruising and pain. This indicates inflammatory swelling of the glands of the eyelids.
The treatment of the condition is by using antibiotics and antiinflammatory drugs.
Applying hot compression to the local swollen area provides symptomatic relief.

Thank you
