Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Why husband just turned 86. His balance is bad as is his walking. He doesn't pick up his feet but shuffles. His right hand shakes a lot especially when eating with a spoon. He had 2 surgeries for menongioma and We thoughts these were side effects but the brain surgeon referred to his parkinsons the other day. I didn't Stop him and ask for an expels inaction. Parkinsons has never been mentioned befire so I thought he just thought he was confusing him with another patient. He has a lot of confusion but everyone in his family has had Alzheimer's. He also tore his rotator cuff 2 years ago and so we thought maybe the right hand shaking was from that. When he writes his name it is small and hard to read. Is there a way that we can find out if he has Parkinson's?
