Why I Am Having Low Pulse Rate

Hi, I am 70 year old female. I have been told on a couple of occasions by Drs that i had a slow pulse rate. Once post operation and other times at consultations. I have usually put this down to an athletic youth when worked to bring our rates down. However lately I have experienced extreme tiredness, a sense that everything in my body is slowing down, a sense of despondency and very cold. All wish to do is crawl into bed but then do not sleep well. I am 10 weeks post surgery after under going an operation to remove two somewhat large uterine fibromass. So should i be concerned. In addition when I work out on our treadmill my pulse struggles to stay in the 120s

Hi,
There may be another cause for feeling very tired. You may be anemic post-surgery. I suggest you need a thorough assessment including blood work. Therefore, you need to see your doctor. In the meantime, eat plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables.
