Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had a stomach flu two days ago, and while I had the flu I was so dizzy that I felt like passing out. I thought that this was normal with the flu, but now that I am eating (not regularly but some), I am still very dizzy every time I get out of bed or up from a chair. Just raising my head will make me dizzy. Is the dizziness just from the flu or should I see my doctor ? YYYY@YYYY
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. If you have only pain and vomiting ,or motions also, is important. If you have motions as well, and are extensive, you must have infusions, If the pain is extensive, with out fluid loss also you may need infusions to cope with the exertion. I advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment. I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms omeprazole, domperidone, and ofloxacin.I also give infusion offluids for dehydration. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
