Hello doc I m two months pregnant. I m confused after reading details of medicine prescribed by gynaecologist., 1. Adilin SR 2. MForlin-500 3.meprogen400 gm 4. Womerfert 5. Rayshine 6. Ray fold 7.macavit 4 to 7 are for vitamins n all. I want to know 1- 3 are safe or not.
1. Adilin SR (Isoxsuprine) relaxes the uterine smooth muscles and is used for treatment of pre-term labor and thus found to be safe during pregnancy. 2. M Forlin-500mg (Metformin) is a drug used to treat diabetes mellitus during pregnancy (gestational diabetes) and found to be safe during pregnancy. 3. Miprogen 400 (Progesterone) is a synthetic female sex hormone prescribed to support pregnancy and help prevent miscarriage. It is also found to be safe during pregnancy.
