Why Is Cymbalta Prescribed After A Back Surgery?

why would a dr. in a pain clinic, prescribe cymbalta . To someone that has had back surgery. and is also wanting me to see a surgeon. I had a laminectamy 12 ago and a series steroid treatments????? I really do not like the side effect of all the ssri medication

Hello. Cymbalta can bring relief to neuropathic pain, but it isn't effective for muscle, bone, and ligament pain. Oxycodone, tramadol, and ibuprofen are.
