Why Is Ecosprin Prescribed During Pregnancy?
hi my doctor prescribe me ecosprin 75 ,last 1.5 mnth ,i have 7.5 mnth pregnancy,please can u tell me why doctor giving me this medicine.i know it is blood thinning medicine ,but why i need this medicine as doctor evrytime said everything is ok then why this medicine.

Use of Ecosprin (75 mg once daily) in the middle and late pregnancy can prevent the pregnancy induced hypertension and pre-eclampsia (condition that puts both mother and infant at risk for serious complications, including death), preterm birth or low birth weight babies and hence it is used.
