Why Is Mox 500 Prescribed Before Scheduling For Re X-ray?
sir, I am taking mox 500 mg tablet last 6 days as per doctors advice, when I went to GCC medical test. actually I don t have any diseases in lungs like Tb. where as doctors advised for re x-ray after tablet taken by me. my question is this tablet will it recover my problem during my re xray. please suggest me.
Hi & Welcome. I can understand your concern. Well, Mox (Amoxicillin) seems to have prescribed to treat the respiratory tract infection like bronchitis or pneumonia. As a general rule one must have a normal chest x-ray to get the job visa attested to seek a suitable job in most of the GCC countries. The doctor might have suspected some sort of infection based on your initial chest xray taken and hence you have been prescribed to take a course of Mox to clear the infection so as to get a normal chest x ray. Hope this answers your query.
