Why Is Pepcid Prescribed After Meals?

I have an ENT Dr who put me on Pepsid (right after meals). I should have asked him his theory , but I was too chicken! Do you have any idea why he would prescribe that plan vs the usual way of taking it on an empty stomach? I do have an extreme case. I have been on Prevacid solutabs in the morning ( prescribed by my GI DR). I had been having problems with hoarseness. I have had my esophagus examined about 3 times so I am not new to these treatments.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, hyperacidity is such condition that can manifest in many ways it gives upper respiratory symptoms it can give throat symptoms too, headache, vomiting, it is very uncertain as long as the hyperacidity is concern, so PPI being always be given by all the doctor be it ENT or any other physician or surgeon hope this information helps.
