Why Is Zoladex Injection Given And What Are Its Side Effects ?
for what use ZOLADEX injection is used for? my wife had undergone a laproscopic operation for endometric cyst. after operation surgeon has temporarily suspended her ovary and uterus. she had suggested a next visit on the second day of her period to remove to other stiches which are probably holding the Fallopian tubes from inside to suspend ovary. doctor asked that at that time she will give zoladex injection. i want to know why it is required as somebody suggested that this injection may result in memory loss

The injection Zoladex is given in females to decrease the hormonal levels of LH;and FSH hormones and it has been given for the endometrosis which yous wife has.
The common side effects that can occur are :-urticaria or itching;hot flushes;lethergy;oedema;sexual dysfunction;etc.These side effects like any other medicines are found in very few cases and not all.Also there is no study showing memory loss following the use of it at present.
