hi im from the philippines. i have been tested in one of the medical clinic here and they found a reactive of hepa b in my blood. the next day they also perform the same test with the same sample.. is this ok?? because if this happen same result will happened
There are many tests of Hepatitis B including quantitative and qualitative analysis. The sample is usually stored with a preservative and kept in sample container under proper temperature so that the contents are preserved. A repeat test can be done on the same sample or another sample if there is a need to reconfirm results. If you wish that the test be done using a new sample then please express your opinion to the laboratory doing the test. You might have to pay certain charges for handling and drawing a fresh sample. If the sample was drawn from you and stored properly then it should not make a difference. The choice is with you if you desire to get the test done on a new sample.
