Why Is A Person Having Irregular Heartbeat After Mild Exercise Who Has A History Of Heart Attacks?
My husband is having irregular heart beat everyday especially after mild exercise. He has had three heart attacks and has 12 stents. He is on 13 medications. He also has a ICD/Pacemaker. Can you give us suggestions as to what he can do to control the irregular heart beat. He wants and needs to exercise.
Hello, Thank you for the query. To have an idea with what we dealing with, we need an 24 hour registration of the heart electrical activity(HOLTER ECG). The situation is so complex that we need many details to know the solution to the problem. For example we need to know the heart function, does he have residual stenosis in the coronaries, is the ICD/pacemaker working etc. Probably we can work on medicines to try to control irregular beats.
