Why Is An Angiogram Suggested After A Cataract Surgery?

I recently had cataract surgery in one eye. Afterwards he wants me to have an angiogram which he will perform. Ques. Isnt it unusual for an opthamologist to do an angiogram. Ques: What did he see in mhy eye to suggest that an angiogramn is needed ?

Thanks for your query.
Noted the history of an Ophthalmologist suggesting an angiogram, for the next/ second eye surgery is indicative of that you are either suffering from hypertension or there is some arterio-venous malformation.
Hence it is imperative to know the exact diagnosis in advance so that a proper Ophthalmic treatment can be done.
So get this done as well as fitness as far as diabetes and hypertension.
