I am 21, 4ft9, 95lbs. I have year round allergies and sinus headaches. I was wondering why my ent doctor prescribed me Dermotic Oil for my ear wax? I had lots of soft wax that built up that the doc irrigated(which made me dizzy). Now I am supposed to get these drops, but when I looked it up I saw it wasn't mentioned that it even helps ear wax just eczema of the ear. I really appreciated my doctor's help especially since the wax had affected my hearing, however I don't want to use a steriod like that unless I definitely need it. I could use some other opinions about this. Thank you!

Why Is 'dermotic Oil' Prescribed For Ear Wax?
Hello, You can use Soliwax ear drop or a Waxol ear drop. They are Waxolytic ear drops which will soften your wax and will clean it up. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Rajat Basak
