Why Is Is Not Allowed To Donate More Than 1 Bag Of Blood?
Hi. Why are we not allowed to donate more than 1 bag of blood? I am healthy and was willing to donate 2 bags for a friend but the hospital will allow only 1 bag of blood. I have donated many times, so I am not afraid of losing some blood. I know I can easily recover by resting and eating.

Please bare in mind, that it is allowed to take only 1 bag of blood (around 500 ml). This amount is enough to help your friend and to keep you safe of any possible complication (severe hypotension).
Although you are donating blood, your body needs enough blood to run its own activities with no problem. That's why you should not donate more than 1 bag at a time although you are healthy.
