Why Is My 7 Year Old Daughter Showing Signs Of Child Abuse?
My husband and adopted 2 granddaughters in 2011. They are now 7 and 5 years old, the 7 year old has started showing signs maybe child abuse. She has taken here little sisters hand and made here touch here vagina this was a week ago. Today she took our small dog and started rubbing the dog on her little sisters vagina. Is this a sign of child abuse that may have happened to my 7 year old or not.
Your daughter is only 7 years old. She is exploring world and understanding things more.
If you let your daughter watch TV without controlling the programmes she watches, she ends up mimicking what she sees.
Next, you should keep her under observation and visit her in class more frequently to understand her behavior.
I advise to talk to your daughter more, be close to her, try to send her to children playgrounds rather than letting her watch TV or surf internet alone.
As she grows up, you can discuss that she is a good daughter, you are proud of her especially when she is behaving well. Then, try to explain what the good practices are.
