My 50 yo sister has EOS count of 11%, estradiol of 700 with a normal FSH. Doc has ordered pelvic US to check ovary (only has one after hysterectomy and removal of one). Are there any benign reasons (perimenopausal or benign tumors) which could result in these results? Thank you for answering this question.
Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. There are many casues for high eosinophil count. Allergy, asthma, parasitic infection, hypersensitivity etc can leads to eosinophilia. you should take treatment according to cause. Steroid or DEC can help you. You may have some benign tumour in ovary. Go for ultrasound abdomen. Hope I have answered your question, if you have any doubts then contact me at bit.ly/Drsanghvihardik, I will be happy to answer you. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
