Why Is My X-ray Findings Saying Fibrohazed Infiltrates Seen Compatible With PTB With Undetermined Activity?
Hi Doc, I had a recent X-ray findings saying: Fibrohazed infiltrates are seen in both upper lobes compatible with PTB with undetermined activity. I am 25 years old and this is my first time having this kind of xray findings . I never have any symtoms like for PTB desease. I never coughs nor lose weight. Can you please help shed some light on this? I appreciate your feedback.
Infiltrates in upper lobes of lung are consistent with tuberculous inflammation. I suggest you to get tested for tuberculous inflammation with investigations like sputum examination for AFB with PCR.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
