Why Is My Child Having Fever From Past 4 Days?

Hello doctor my daughter 4 & half years had fever for 4 days, the dr examined hereverything was ok. So she make throat culture & the result was no bacteria then she made a blood test & the CRP was 126.8 mg/l so she decided to give her a course of antibiotic because its bacterial infection. But her fever is getting lower today, should i give her the antibiotic or not

I think you should follow the instructions of your doctor who has examined her. This is because the CRP is elevated indicating bacterial infection.
