Why Is My Child Having High Fever After Taking Antibiotic For Angina?

Went to the doctors today with my 2 year old.
He has a angina and high fever.
I give him antibiotic for the angina and folio ran against fever . But he still has high fever after giving him medications
And now it seems he has an even more sore thought !!!

Is this normal? Or do I have to worry?

Greetings of the day


as he is having high grade fever it's advisable to start oral antibiotic.
If the fever still persists after 24to 48 hours of taking antibiotic it's advisable to consult your Pediatrician.

Also normal saline nebulization and decongestant cough syrup will be helpful.
