Why Is My Circumcision Wound Taking Longer To Heal?
Hi there,
I have a circumscision wound that has taken longer to heal. My gp prescribed antibiotics which treated an infection in the wound. Another gp suggested I apply hydrozole cream to close the wound. Would this work? I'm 43 years old without any health problem
Dear sir i can understand your concern in my opinion there are few things to be considered for quick wound healing 1.proper antibiotics and control of infection 2.blood sugar control in case of diabetes 3.daily dressing and monitoring of wound local application of ointments like mupirocin and hydrozole will help in keeping the wound moist and help in healing of wound kindly see your surgeon for further assistance.
