Why Is My Cough Getting Worse Inspite Of Taking Antibiotics?

I had a cold and then a few fevers which then turned to 2 weeks of coughing. I went to the doctors and said i had a lung infection and prescribed me antibiotics (250mg of azithromycin per tablet). I took a full course of it which is 5 days and the doctor said no exercise/sports for a week. Its been a week and a half now. It was working when i was taking the antibiotics but now the cough is slowly getting worse again. Do i need more antibiotics?

Hello.Lung infection- bronchitis,in addition of antibiotic,are recommended inhaled drugs (salbutamol ...) and even corticosteroids by mouth (prednisone for example).Go to your doctor for examination and prescription.
