Why Is My Eye Sore And Waterline Bruised?

So i woke up at 1 A.M and my eye felt sore, at first i thought it was below my Eye but Then i touched my waterline and it felt brused. I put a bit of a gel around it , and it got down a bit, but now the corner of my inner eye is still swollen & Red. Why is this happening?

It appears your are having blepharitis. Clean the lid with sterile wet swab. If you have dandruff then apply nizeral solution on scalp. Apply neosporine eye ointment over lid margin.With this treatment you should improve.
