Why Is My Eye Swollen After Removal Of Contact Lenses?

I took my right contact out last night and my eye felt like I had an eyelash inside my eye. I went to sleep and this morning my eye still hurt and my nose is running on the same side that my now swollen inside of my eye is on. What should I do, my eye is now very painful and my right nostril keeps ruNning?
