Why Is My Mother Nauseous And Dry Retching Most Of The Day After Having Fasigyn?

My mum took fasigyn at 6pm on Thursday night after dinner. The following morning and for the next 24 hours she was very nausious and dry retching most of the day and couild not get out of bed, she appears to be a bit better today. Could it be a side effect from chewing the fout tablets not swallowing them whole or something else. She is 85 years old and has chronic reflus, gastritus an diavitiulitus.

Faigyn is tinidazole , however the normal dose is 2 gm as a single dose for many diseases ,
But few patients feel metallic taste , nausea , headache , vomiting whether they take it as a whole or chew .
But any how , your mother had taken , so plenty of liquid , rest will provide much needed relief.
If symptoms are sever she may need drugs like pantoprazole-D , once in day for 3-4 days .
