Why Is My Mouth Sore And Has Fine Red Bumps On Tongue And Gums?

I am 49 never smoked and 3 days ago my mouth felt very sore and I feel a lump in my throat the lump seems to move down my throat very slow.. each day its hard to swallow when I'm lying down... and my mouth is sore with fine red bumps mostly under my tongue and my gums are very sore it hurts to eat and drink most of the time.

Hello, Thank you for consulting with HCM.
These lumps which you are mentioning can be either herpes ulcers or aphthous ulcer.
In case of herpetic ulcers you have to start with antiviral medications and symptomatic relief with an anesthetic mouthwashes. And in case of aphthous ulcer you have to take a topical ointment named pansoral gel, and an lycopene containing antioxidant capsule once daily as well as a mouthwash- Kamol or tantum.
But for proper treatment you have to visit a dentist and get it examined.
