Why Is My Reading After Lung And Abdomen Drainage High?
Hi my name is Cylllhia, I have low blood pressure since is left the hospital. I had my lung drained of fluid as well as my abdomen this past Friday. I check it today and out the three readings I did the highest was 88 over 55. Should I go to the emergency room?
Thanks for your question on HCM. In my opinion you should definitely go to the hospital as this much low pressure can lead to oragn hypoperfusion and permanent damage. So you should not keep this much low pressure for long time. The cause for this may be poor pumping of heart or infection or fluid loss in the body due to drainage of fluid. So you need to investigate for causes of hypotension. You need fluids and inotropic support to achive blood pressure.
