Why Is My Saliva Is Bitter And Sour To Taste?

good eve doctor.i am having a gastritis..and i notice my saliva is better sour taste, and i have a very bad smell from my nose that anyone could smell it. i do dental check up and its okay,my allergic sinusistis is okay too. where does the smell come from?? i am so inferiornow

I have gone through your query regarding bad smell from your nose and your saliva is bitter and sour. Though had been examined for dental and sinusitis and both were found o.k.

By your medical history it is clear that there is some thing wrong in nose and nasopharynx which is smelling bad, I am suspecting that you may be having Atrophic Rhinitis with Dyspepsia.

To confirm the diagnosis nasal examination is must by an ENT doctor along with these investigations-

1- X-Ray paranasal sinuses.

2- Culture and sensitivity of nasal swab.

3- Nasopharyngoscopy.

With the inferences of above investigations and their clinical co-relation one may reach to diagnosis which may be accordingly manage.
