Why Is My Son Having Swollen Red Ears After Playing In Cold Weather?

My son was playing hockey outside with the temperature being minus 15 degrees Celsius. He is complaining that his ears are swollen and red. Also, he is feeling pain in that area. The ears are definitely red when you are looking directly at them. From behind the ears, you can see that one half is the normal skin color and the other half on the outside is really red. What should he do?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your question, highly sensitive skin to low temperature, shows such manifestation, your son has to cover the ear with the worm cloths or it is particular cap or ear cover band is there that can be used, not need to apply anything, this is the only option he has, take care of him bye.
