Why Is One Extremely Sensitive To Medications?

Thanks, 65 yr old male..got my blood screening results today indicated TC 188; HDL 37; LDL 104; TRG 237. CRR 5.1.....the Dr prescribed Crestor 10 mg. I am extremely sensitive to any kinds of medications and actually, have never taken any type medications other than an occasional aspirin for fever with colds etc. I really do not want to start on any meds as sometimes that will call for something to correct what that drug caused...Do you think it is necessary that I start this. Thanks
