Why Is Pisiform Bone On Left Wrist Larger Than The Right?

The pisiform bone on my left wrist is much larger than the right. It doesn t hurt, is hard like bone, but I am wondering if I should be concerned. I didn t notice it. A friend asked my what was wrong because it was so much bigger than the other side.

Hello,

Pisiform bone present at the ulnar side and flexor side of wrist. You may be confusing with styloid process of ulna. Usually, it is visible on an x-ray of the wrist joint. Variation in size seen in osteomyelitis or osteoarthritis etc.
