At 18 weeks of pregnancy your baby water is not fully formed for you to discharge it. So, what came wasn't baby water. Coming to Gestin tablets: 1) Gestin is contraindicated in pregnancy 2) It is categorized as pregnancy X drug meaning do not use in pregnancy. Risks involved outweigh potential benefits. Safer alternatives exist. Please don't take Gestin tablets. Instead please go for a second opinion with another obstetrician.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
