hi sir patient name deepshikha age 30years female . she hv pain his both hips joints difficulty in walking her MRI reports are given below plz suggeste her treatment . AP level L1-2 1.9cm, L2-3 1.8cm, L3-4 1.5cm, L4-5 1.3cm, L5-S1 1.4cm INTERPRETATION - Diffuse posterior buldge L4-5 disc causing bilateral neural foramina narrowing. plz tell me what is the excect treatment its
Most patients with low back pain(IVDP) respond well to conservative therapy, including limited bed rest, exercise and, in selected cases, injections.
have patience , it may take a 1 -2 weeks or more for pain relief .
consult an ortho surgeon.
Indications for surgery.
(1) cauda equina syndrome, (2) progressive neurologic deficit, (3) profound neurologic deficit and (4) severe and disabling pain refractory to four to six weeks of conservative treatment.
