Will Left Neural Foraminal Stenosis & Lateral Recess Stenosis Lead To Cauda Equina Syndrome?
Hi, had microdiscectomy at L4-5 in 2008...in 2011 had updated MRI with the following results: L4-5 shows residual disc protrusion asymmetric to the left. There is also enhancing scar tissue. There is mild overall central stenosis and also degree mild left neural foraminal stenosis and lateral recess stenosis. I am concerned about Cauda Equina syndrome, as I do have leakage. Do these combined issues cause this syndrome, and should I be concerned? Thank you!
