My son is 13 years old and is still wetting the bed. I need some advice. For years, he suffered from chronic UTIs. He saw a urologist and had a sonogram of his kidneys and bladder and a VCUG. Everything came back normal except for where most people have two tubes connecting the kidneys to the bladder, one on each side. My son has two on one side and one on the other. What could be causing him to still be wetting the bed at 13 years of age.
Usually, duplication of ureter does not cause bed wetting, unless associated with neurogenic component involving the bladder. I recommend consulting with all reports of IVP, uroflowmetry, and others to guide more precisely in this matter.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
