Why My Legs And Hands Feels Numb?

hi doctor, i am 27 yr old, daily my both hands and sometimes my legs too are numb and it is very painful, this problem reaches to the very painful level when i am sleeping which causes me to wake up in the middle of night 3-4 times daily, i lose the grip of my hands when its numb, i have consulted a neorologist who examined me and said that this is CARPAL TUNNEL SYNDROME in my wrist, so when i take medicines it improves about 50% but when i dont take any medicine it starts again, doctor has asked me to go for a surgery. I must tell u that this problem has started after my c-section my first daughter is 4 yrs and second son is 1 yr old . please doctor help me advice me some good home remidies i dont want to go through a surgery, please Help

Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to carpal tunnel syndrome. I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the pain. I also suggest cold compresses for relieve. If the symptoms continue, surgery is recommended.
