Why My Son Is Having High Fever With Drooling From His Mouth?
My 2 yr old son suddenly got fever Monday night that spiked upe to 103. Went down to 102 by Wednesday early morning. Then went down and varied to 101.7-101.4 throughout the day and upto now. He has been opening his mouth and been trying to show something to me. But since he doesn't really talk much yet, i don't know what it is. I also observed he had been drooling since he got the fever..

Probably child is developing some throat infection like tonsillitis or peritonsillar abscess causing such fever and drooling of saliva.
Needs to be examined by the ENT surgeon to get the exact diagnosis.
Till that antipyretics like paracetamol with proper doses 4 hourly and broad spectrum antibiotic like Augmentin to be started to control the infection,.
