Why The Pelvic Infection Did Not Cure After Taking Antibiotics?
hi i am 35 years old i have 3 children one only 6 months old i have had a scan recently it showed up a uterine fibroid polycystic ovaries on both sides havnt been given any treatments for this do i need any and i have free fluid collection in the cervical area which i have been told is a pelvic infection i have had a weeks worth of antibiotics and i still feel the same i have had a pain in my left side opposite of my belly button that noone has been able to tell me what could be causing it this has all been going on for at least 10 weeks now please can you help in any way i am a bit worried about the fluid .i am 5ft 4 ithink about 10 stone i havnt weighed myself since i was pregnant

I would suggest you to revisit your gynaecologist and get treatment done for your ailments. It could be possible that you have chronic pelvic infection. I would suggest that you might have to take longer duration of treatment and ultrasound to monitor the collection. Sometimes there are adhesions which cause such pain due to chronic infection. You need to evaluate your case to rule out possibility of tuberculosis infection
