Why The Sugar Level Is High Even After Exercising Daily?

Hi I am a diabetic and 60 years old. I exercise daily by walking 4 km per day. I am also on Janumet tablets twice a day. I did a 6 km walk yesterday evening, but my sugar level was still 11.8 this morning. Could you explain why it is still o high? Dennis

There is nothing to get alarmed because this is a natural happening in the course of diabetes progression.
in controlling of diabetes can be divided to four main parts

Exercise-----contributes 30% to your control
Medication----contributes 30% to your control
stress reduction----contributes 10% to your control
